Greenhouse leeks can be grown all year round. Prepare the soil before planting, sow seeds at the right time, water the seedlings promptly after emergence, apply urea to promote growth, topdress fertilizers in a timely manner according to the growth, and pay attention to controlling weeds in the field.

1. Insulation

After the shed is closed, the planting temperature can be controlled, generally 20℃ during the day and 10℃-5℃ at night. When the plant height is greater than 10 cm, the temperature in the shed should be reduced through air, and the daytime temperature should be maintained at around 16°C and 20°C. In winter cultivation in small sheds, heat preservation should be strengthened and kept above 6℃ at night. In the future, as the outside temperature decreases, cover with grass quilts and paper quilts at night, and cover early and open late to enhance thermal insulation performance.

2. Top dressing

Leeks have strong fertilizer tolerance and a large demand for nitrogen fertilizer. The optimal amounts of organic fertilizers are human manure, chicken manure and soil. Ammonium sulfate and compound fertilizer are the most ideal fertilizers. It is generally recommended to apply 40 kg of ammonium sulfate per acre. After soil cultivation, organic fertilizer needs to be applied once.

3. Irrigation

Leeks are suitable for growing in an environment with 60% humidity. Irrigation is usually done behind the shed, 10 days before each harvest. It is beneficial to the normal growth of leeks.

4. Light

Sufficient light is the factor for high yield and high quality of leeks. During the growth period of leeks, when the sun shines in, the grass curtain should be opened in time to clean the dust on the shed surface. In the afternoon, when the sun leaves the shed surface, it should be strictly covered with grass curtains. Cloudy and snowy weather should also be exposed as usual.

5. Pest control

To prevent and control gray mold on leeks, you can use Suiclin aerosol fumigation shed and water each time to avoid timely removal of diseased parts. At each harvest, remove diseased leaves and bury them deeply. If gray mold occurs, control it immediately with 50% clonazepam spray.
