Cancer refers to the malignant tumor originating from epithelial tissue, which is the most common type of malignant tumor, such as lung cancer, intestinal cancer and so on. Correspondingly, malignant tumors originating from interstitial tissue are called sarcomas, such as angiosarcoma, fibrosarcoma and osteosarcoma. The transformation from normal cells to cancer cells is a long-term and gradual process, which requires abnormal proliferation, precancerous lesions until carcinoma in situ and invasive carcinoma, and lymph node metastasis and distant tissue and organ metastasis may occur in the later stage.
However, if cells continue to divide, these extra cells will form tumors. Malignant tumor cells can invade and destroy adjacent tissues and organs. In addition, cancer cells can penetrate from tumors and enter the blood or lymphatic system. This is how cancer forms new tumors from the primary site to other organs. This process is called cancer metastasis. Most cancers are named after the organ or cell type from which they originated.

But you should also know some symptoms related to cancer: change in defecation habits, long-term unhealed wounds, painless lumps in breasts or other parts of the body, indigestion or dysphagia, obvious warts or moles, or irritating cough or hoarseness.
