How to install a fishing float

Fishing floats are installed as follows:

1. Monobloc floats with a rod in the tail

This kind of float only needs to be inserted into the rubber tube or valve core on the main line when connecting with the fishing line. If you need to adjust the position of the float, you can move it up and down along the fishing line. If you need to adjust the position of the float, move the rubber tube or valve core up and down along the line so that the float is in the position you want it to be.

2. Big floats with holes in the tail or metal rings

When connecting this type of float to the fishing line, you can first fold a short piece of nylon thread into a double strand, and then, after forming a line sleeve, pass it through the holes in the tail of the float or a metal ring, and then pull the thread from the center of the sleeve and tie it in a live knot, and then, after attaching it to the float, tie the thread sleeve in a dead end.

Finally, choose the position on the line where you want the float to be, wrap the line around a double loop knot, insert the dead end of the float line into the double loop knot on the line and tighten the knot to secure the float. It is important to note that the float cannot move on the line when connected in this way.

3. Single swimming float

These floats are mostly medium to large sized floats with a metal ring at the end and spherical floats with a hole in the center, which are better suited for long distance casting with sea rods and other fishing rods. When connecting the fishing line, you can first put a plastic ball with a diameter of 5-10 millimeters through the fishing line,

and then pass the fishing line through the metal ring at the end of the float and the hole in the center of the ring-shaped float to connect with the lead pendant and the fish hook. Rooting out the angler's understanding of how to fish (fishing floats to the bottom), at the appropriate place on the line above the plastic ball, tie the line in a knot larger than the inner diameter of the plastic ball's through-hole as a cutoff point for the float to slide on the line.

The float thus attached will minimize the distance between the float and the lead when casting.

4. Multi-floaters

Multi-floaters are more than one type of float, such as line floats, seven-star floats, centipede floats, etc. These floats consist of small segments of a feather plume or an elliptical ball of flux, which can be threaded directly onto the drop line, with the floats kept at a certain distance from each other, or combined together, with a spacing that can be adjusted according to your own needs.
