Buddies are specialized in shooting dishes. There is nothing to say about camera settings. The aperture should not be too small, usually around eight or nine. Of course, if you take close-ups, try to make the aperture bigger, or blur it to look better! Mainly light, under normal circumstances, dishes are shot with side backlight as the main light. I sometimes have three lights and sometimes two lights, but the main light source is front backlight, so make an auxiliary light diagonally!
