Do hairy crabs grow in the sea or in the lake?
Hairy crabs are also called river crabs, and the scientific name is Eriocheir sinensis. Hairy crabs are born at the mouth of rivers and the environment belongs to brackish water. Small crab seedlings separated from the mother go up against the river at the mouth of the sea and gradually fade away to adapt to fresh water life such as rivers and lakes. After two years of autumn growth, they go downstream to mate in the sea, and the biological tasks of growth, development and reproduction are completed repeatedly. Therefore, hairy crabs are long in the sea. Provided by Erli River Crab Breeding Base.
