Iced black tea is a drink made of black tea with ice. The exact time of the invention of iced black tea has not been verified, but it suddenly became popular in the summer of 1929. Richard Blechynden, a tea merchant, promoted black tea to people when he attended the West Lake Expo in China. Because of the intense summer heat, Richard himself could not drink hot black tea. When I was discouraged, a pile of ice cubes accidentally fell into the brewed hot black tea. Unfortunately, I poured a cup to quench my thirst. I didn't expect the iced black tea to be cool and carefree. Richard had a brainwave and resold iced black tea, which was sold out immediately.
