Step 1: Peel and cut the yam into segments.
Step 2: Add a spoonful of white vinegar to the water in the pot, add the yam segments as the water boils, blanch for a minute and drain.
Step 3: Mix the honey sauce: two spoons of sugar, three spoons of honey, two tablespoons of orange juice.
Step 4: Simmer over medium-low heat until large bubbles form.
Step 5: Add the yam, add a dozen or so goji berries, and simmer over the lowest possible heat.
Step 6, about twenty minutes, to the juice thick when you can turn off the fire out.
