③ The roots of clematis manshurica contain triterpenoid saponins: clematis glycoside A, clematis glycoside A ",clematis glycoside B and clematis glycoside C..

④ The roots of Dioscorea bulbifera and its varieties contain saponin and hederagenin.

Pharmacological action ① Effect on circulatory system

The 50% infusion (1 ml/kg) of clematis angustifolia (i.e. Polygonum hydropiper) can reduce the blood pressure and reduce the renal volume in anesthetized dogs, and the efficacy of the decoction is only half that of the infusion. It has the effect of inhibiting toad heart in vitro first and then exciting, and the efficacy of the decoction seems to be about 3 ~ 5 times greater than that of the decoction. Its antihypertensive effect may be related to the inhibition of the heart.

② Effect on smooth muscle

Clematis angustifolia decoction has obvious exciting effect on isolated intestine of mice, which may be a direct effect on smooth muscle, and has similar effect on isolated intestine of rats and rabbits. It has no obvious effect on mouse uterus in vitro.

③ antidiuretic effect

Clematis angustifolia preparation has obvious antidiuretic effect on mice, rats and guinea pigs. This effect is roughly equal to that of decoction; 0.2 ml of 50% decoction is equivalent to the antidiuretic effect of pituitrin 0. 1 unit, and its action time seems to be longer than that of pituitrin, which may also be related to the decrease of blood pressure and renal vasoconstriction.

④ Hypoglycemic effect

Clematis chinensis extract can significantly enhance glucose assimilation in normal rats (that is, urine glucose test is still negative after giving rats a lot of glucose), so it may have hypoglycemic effect.

⑤ Other functions

The intraperitoneal injection of 0.025g/10g (the minimum lethal dose of 1/8) of the decoction of Clematis chinensis (species unknown) can slightly improve the pain valve in mice (hot plate method), so it may have analgesic effect. 1:3 water extract has some inhibitory effect on skin fungi in vitro. Baicalin (Pulsatilla chinensis brain) extracted from Clematis chinensis Bunge (Celastrus chinensis Bunge, species unknown) has antibacterial effect. Another water extract of Radix Clematidis also contains protoanemonin, which may be an antibacterial component.

Processing Clematis chinensis: clean impurities, remove residual stems, soak in water, take out and moisten thoroughly, cut into sections and dry in the sun. Wine spirit fairy: take the clematis section, mix well with yellow wine and suffocate thoroughly, put it in a pot and fry it with slow fire, then take it out and let it cool. (per clematis chinensis 100 kg, yellow rice wine12 ~15 kg)

Among 33 patients with positive general survey, after treatment, 27 cases were negative after1~ 2 reexaminations. It is observed that the curative effect is related to the dosage and course of treatment. If the dosage is less than 1 kg, the curative effect is poor; The effective rate of two courses of treatment is higher than that of one course of treatment. No serious reaction was found after taking the medicine, only a few patients had burning sensation, nausea and slight temperature increase in their stomachs.

Then, take fresh leaves of Clematis chinensis, mash them, put them into small balls, as big as soybean, and fix them with a layer of adhesive tape, and gently press the thumb on the acupoint for half a minute to strengthen the * * * effect of medicine on the acupoint. Generally, it takes about 40 minutes, and there is a slight spicy feeling in the local area, so the adhesive tape and medicine can be removed; After 1 day, a small blister appears locally, which should be protected to prevent infection. Treatment of sty 12 cases, conjunctivitis 6 cases, traumatic corneal ulcer 1 case, with an average of 3 days.

⑥ Treat tonsillitis.

Take fresh Clematis chinensis whole herb (or stems and leaves alone) 2 taels (dried product is halved), wash it and take it in soup or as tea, daily 1 dose. 247 cases were observed and the effective rate was 90%. Or mash the juice with fresh clematis leaves and soak it with cotton strips to plug the nose, which has effects on pharyngolaryngitis, tonsillitis, acute epiglottitis and bony larynx. Usage: twist the sterilized cotton into a strip of 4 ~ 5 cm, and put one end of the sterilized cotton into the nostril (left pain plugs left, right pain plugs right) to reach the upper nasal passage. About 4 ~ 6 minutes, the patient will cry and sneeze, and the symptoms will be significantly relieved in about 30 minutes. If it does not heal, it must be repeated every 4 to 6 hours.

⑦ Treatment of bone carp

Take two bowls of Radix Clematidis 1 bowl, add 2 bowls of water, decoct into one bowl of 1 bowl, and swallow it slowly. Take it after half an hour to 1 hour, and you can take two doses of1~ 2 in one day. If the bone is in the esophagus, rehydration and anti-infection should be carried out as appropriate. After the treatment of 104 cases, 90 cases disappeared smoothly after taking the medicine, and after 14 cases failed, the bones were taken out under laryngoscope or esophagoscope, and the effective rate was about 85%. Among them, 32 cases were hypopharynx (all fish bones), and 27 cases disappeared smoothly after taking1~ 3 dose; 72 cases of esophageal epiphysis (35 cases complicated with different degrees of infection) were treated with antibiotics, rehydration and fasting, etc. After taking 1 ~ 8 doses, the barium meal passed smoothly through X-ray fluoroscopy, and no complications occurred in1case. It is observed that the therapeutic effect is related to the size of the foreign body, the obstruction site and the depth of the foreign body inserted into the soft tissue. From the animal experiment and clinical results, the effect of Clematis chinensis on bone carp may be as follows: 1. Directly acting on smooth muscle, enhancing excitability, from rhythmic contraction to peristalsis. After the local contracture of two bones is applied, the local relaxation and peristalsis are changed through the anti-histamine effect of Clematis chinensis, so that the bones are easy to loosen. The upper end of esophagus is striated muscle, while the middle and lower ends are smooth muscle, and the effect is better in the middle and lower ends, which may be related to this. Three clematis root has no softening effect on bone directly, but the secretion of laryngopharynx and esophagus is acidic, which is helpful to its curative effect. However, it should be pointed out that if four doses of medicine are ineffective, surgical removal should be considered in combination with the type of foreign body and the obstructive position, so as not to delay the illness. In addition, it is also effective to use five cents of clematis root and appropriate amount of rice vinegar to decoct the liquid medicine and swallow it slowly.

Famous experts discuss (1) The Prescription of Collection on the Sea: "Clematis, get rid of all kinds of wind, get through the twelve meridians, and spread the cold pus in the five internal organs to get sick, with little profit and no thirst. "When people take this, their limbs are light and healthy, their hands and feet are warm and cool."

(2) Compendium: "Clematis, temperature, slightly pungent and salty. "It is pungent, discouraged and salty, so it is effective for those with strong qi to take it, and it is generally beneficial. If you take it for a long time, you will be afraid of damaging the true qi, and you should not take it for those with weak qi."

(3) "Herbal Classics": "Clematis, the master of all winds, is also a good guide for wind medicine. Cold stagnation in the abdomen is mostly due to cold and dampness and phlegm in the heart diaphragm, so drinking stops at the upper and middle jiao, and wind energy overcomes dampness. Wet disease likes dryness, so it is also the main reason. The bladder is filled with pus and water, which is not caused by dampness, and the waist and knees are cold and painful. It is also caused by the invasion of tendons at the lower part of the wet flow, which can dispel wind and remove dampness, and the disease will go with it. It is said that it has accumulated dysentery, scabies, air lumps and broken injuries for a long time. "There are many people who suffer from blood, but few who suffer from qi, and not all of them are due to dampness, so it's not appropriate to be afraid of it, so it's okay to take care of it."

(4) "Drug Meaning": "Lingxian, fierce and anxious, covers up and does not keep, and promotes the twelve meridians. Indications: wind, dampness, phlegm and stagnation in meridians, resulting in gout, pain in joints, swelling or numbness. The winner of the wind, suffering from the upper, the winner of the wet, suffering from the lower, both depressed for a long time, turned into blood heat, blood heat as the foundation, and phlegm as the standard, so as to dredge the meridians, then blood stagnation and phlegm resistance, all without exception. If the hand and foot fail after stroke, it can be used as an adjuvant to promote the airway. Mix with wine to cure the pain in both buttocks. "Because of its strong strength, it can also strengthen cartilage, so that it can work with Xiongxiong, Guigui, Tortoise Shell and Xueyu to treat labor-related bone failure, and the experience will affect it."

⑤ "Materia Medica Justice": "Clematis, taking channeling and eliminating grams as a function, accumulating dampness and stopping phlegm, and blood coagulation and qi stagnation are all appropriate. "The taste is slightly pungent, so it is also called expelling wind. However, it is appropriate that the three gases of wind, cold and dampness stay and coagulate, and the joints are not conducive to various diseases. However, the nature is quite sharp, and the meaning of the name can be imagined. However, it is said that the treatment of stroke is silent, the hands and feet are paralyzed, and the mouth and eyes are skewed, which makes people misunderstand."

Reminder: Clematis is a Chinese herbal medicine from the Internet. Please follow the doctor's advice before using it.
