1. Corn cobs are needed to grow straw mushrooms. First, put the fresh corn cobs under the light for about 4 days. Then cover them with a layer of plastic sheet in the soaking pool. Place the corn cobs evenly in the soaking pool with a thickness of 30 cm, sprinkle about 1 cm of lime powder on top of it, repeat this placement until the soaking pool is full, then fill the corn cobs with water and soak until the corn cobs turn yellow.
2. Spreading and sowing is very important in straw mushroom planting technology. Spread the soaked corn cobs evenly on the soil. The area does not need to be too large, just 80 cm, and then put it on top. Sprinkle straw mushroom seeds and cover them with a layer of moisturizing film. To allow the seeds to breathe, dig several small holes in the moisturizing film and cover them with soil every 20 centimeters.
3. Growing straw mushrooms requires very high temperatures to make them take root. Therefore, the greenhouse needs to be closed and the temperature maintained between 32°C and 37°C. When the temperature is higher than 37°C , you need to poke a few holes in the plastic wrap. One week after planting, the greenhouse can be properly ventilated.
4. When the straw mushrooms grow, control the temperature of the greenhouse between 28°C and 33°C, and not higher than 40°C. Otherwise, the straw mushrooms will die. Place a few mushrooms around them. A humidifier is used to increase the humidity of the air. During the fruiting period, it is best not to water the straw mushrooms. Appropriate water can be provided in the walkway.
5. Do not water or replenish water for about 15 days after picking. Cover the mushroom bed with a layer of film and control the indoor temperature to about 30°C. After 3 days, you can spray water, then add lime water to increase air humidity, and ventilate frequently to increase air circulation.
