Mutton kebabs (oven version)
Ingredients
500 grams of lamb leg, half an onion, appropriate amount of barbecue ingredients, appropriate amount of chili powder, and appropriate amount of cumin.
Method
The first step: prepare the ingredients. 500 grams of lamb leg, half an onion, appropriate amount of barbecue ingredients, appropriate amount of chili powder, and appropriate amount of cumin. (It’s best to choose lamb leg meat with a little fat, so it tastes better. Barbecue ingredients, chili powder, and cumin can all be bought in supermarkets.)
Step 2: Cut the lamb into pieces Cut the onion into 2cm pieces and set aside.
Step 3: Put the mutton cubes and onion shreds into a basin, then add 1 spoon of salt and 4 spoons of light soy sauce and mix well, then add 1 spoon of cooking oil and mix well, finally, cover Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours. (As for whether mutton should be marinated, different places have different practices. Usually in places where mutton is slaughtered and eaten now, the meat does not need to be marinated. However, for chilled meat bought in supermarkets or vegetable markets, it is recommended to marinate it. Add the flavor in advance so it tastes better when grilled)
Step 4: After the meat is marinated, pierce it with bamboo skewers and place it on the grill. (Before skewering, scald the bamboo skewers with boiling water. In addition, when threading the skewers, pay attention to the fat and thin ratio, so that the meat will be fresh and tender.)
Step 5: Upper and lower heat 220 degree, preheat the oven. When preheating the oven, brush a thin layer of cooking oil on the surface of the skewers, then place them in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. (When baking, it is best to place a baking pan under the baking mesh and put a piece of tin foil in the baking pan, so that the dripping oil will not stain the box and the baking pan is easy to wash.)
Step 6: After grilling, take out the meat skewers and sprinkle with a little cumin, barbecue seasoning, and chili powder. Then turn over and sprinkle another layer of ingredients. (The amount of ingredients depends on your own taste.)
Step 7: Put it in the oven again for 5 minutes.
Step 8: After grilling the mutton skewers, let’s start. (If you don’t have an oven, you can try using an electric baking pan.)
