What is the correct way to make tea?

A good cup of tea can warm a person's heart and soul, but if it is not brewed properly it can be unpleasant or disappointing because of its bitterness and tastelessness.? A good tea brewing method can maximize the flavor of the tea as well as its health benefits. If you want to make good tea follow these steps.

Step 1: Put enough water in the teapot. The better the flavor of the water you use, the better the taste of the tea you make will be. So, it is recommended to use mountain spring water or pure water.

Step 2: Preheat the teacup. This will prevent the temperature of the water from dropping quickly. Add a little boiling water to the porcelain or ceramic pot or teacup you are going to make tea in.

Step 3: Place the tea leaves in the teapot. Not using a strainer will give the tea more room to unfold and a stronger flavor.

Step 4: Add hot water. Determine the amount of water according to the amount of tea leaves (for example, 5 cups of water corresponds to 5 teaspoons of tea leaves). The temperature requirements for the water are different depending on the tea being brewed. Fermented teas (e.g. black tea) require higher temperatures, while oxidized teas (white tea, green tea) do not require very hot water.

Step 5: Steep. Cover to keep it warm. Different teas require different steeping times. Generally, whole leaf teas take longer than broken leaf teas. Steep for one to two minutes, then taste the flavor, when it smells good but not bitter, it is done. (We recommend 4-7 minutes for oolongs, 3-5 minutes for black teas, and 2-3 minutes for green teas)

Step 6: Pour the tea. Use a strainer to remove the tea leaves when pouring from the teapot. After pouring the tea put the teapot in a place where it can be kept warm so the tea will always be hot.

Step 7: Pour again. For example, green tea or oolong tea can be steeped multiple times, so repeat the steps above, increasing the steeping time each time to get the most flavor out of the tea. You can usually choose to steep for 15-30 seconds the first time to rinse the surface of the tea leaves, and the water from this steeping can be used to rinse the tea utensils.

Step 8: Add milk, sugar, lemon juice or honey to the tea. Don't put in both lemon and milk at the same time or the milk will clump. If you want to put milk in, put the milk in the teacup first and then the tea; this way the hot tea won't come into contact with the milk all at once.

The above is the traditional and correct method and steps of making tea in our daily life, I hope it can help you oh~~~~
