Preface
Western food refers to the dining culture of a predominantly European region, which is characterized by sophistication, variety, and nutrition. There is a wide variety of western food recipes, ranging from simple salads and soups to complex entrees and desserts, all with different preparation methods and flavors. Here, I will share a few of my favorite western food recipes, and I hope you will try them out and enjoy the food as well.
Dish 1: French Mushroom Soup
French Mushroom Soup is a classic French dish, which is rich in flavor and delicate in texture, and is a good choice to warm up your body in winter.
Ingredients:
Mushroom 500g
Onion 1
Butter 50g
Flour 50g
Milk 500ml
Chicken broth 500ml
Salt, black pepper in moderation
Steps:
Channel chop the mushrooms and onion, and use the butter to Sauté until softened.
Add flour and mix well.
Slowly add the milk and chicken broth, whisking constantly until the soup thickens.
Add salt and black pepper, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes.
Puree the soup in a blender to a fine consistency and add some milk to taste.
Dish 2: Italian Toast
The Italian Toast is a simple but delicious appetizer that is crunchy and full of flavor, making it a great choice when sharing afternoon tea with family and friends.
Ingredients:
4 slices of bread
Olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
5 basil leaves
1 tomato
100 grams of mozzarella cheese
Steps:
Brush the slices of bread with olive oil, and bake them in the oven until they are golden brown.
Mince the garlic, chop the basil leaves and tomatoes into small pieces and cut the mozzarella into thin slices.
Place the toasted bread slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle with garlic, basil leaves, tomatoes and mozzarella.
Bake again in the oven until the cheese melts.
Dish 3: Paella
Paella is a Mediterranean-inspired entree that is colorful and flavorful, making it a great choice for a good time with family and friends***.
Ingredients:
Rice 500g
Shrimp 8
Mussels 8
Squid 1
Onion 1
Tomato 2
Olive oil in moderation
Chicken broth 500ml
Salt, black pepper in moderation
Steps:
To prepare the paella, combine the shrimp with the mussels. p>
Clean the shrimp, mussels and squid and cut them into small pieces.
Chop the onions and tomatoes and saute them in olive oil until soft.
Add the rice and chicken stock, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes.
Add the shrimp, mussels and squid and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
