Sheji [shè jì]

It is a general term for the gods of earth and grain. She is the god of earth and Jigen is the god of grain. The gods of earth and grain are the most important primitive cult objects of the ancient agriculture-based Chinese nation. Soil, valley is the people's primary and most basic living conditions, and therefore is bound to be ancient China's founding of the country, the foundation of the government. Therefore, the god of earth and grain, "Sheji" is also used to refer to the state.
