What are the requirements for growing morels?
Hello! Morel mushrooms are wild mushrooms. From the 1950s onwards, scientific and technological workers on artificial domestication and cultivation, but so far, the cultivation of morel mushrooms is still in the experimental stage. Many years ago, in Guangdong and Sichuan has been the cultivation of morel mushrooms reported, but after many years has not been the practice of large-scale production, technical immaturity, yield is also low.

If you want to domesticate the cultivation, planting technology has the following requirements:

1, cultivation material formula requirements

(1) 74.5% crop straw powder, bran 20%, 1% phosphate fertilizer, gypsum 1%, lime 0.5%, humus 3%.

(2) 75% wood chips, 20% bran, 1% phosphate fertilizer, 1% gypsum, 3% humus.

(3) corn cobs 40% (crushed), wood chips 20%, soybean husk 15%, bran 20%, phosphate fertilizer 1%, gypsum 1%, sugar 1%, grass ash 2%.

2, the bag production and culture requirements

The above culture material material water ratio requirements 1:1.3, mixing, stacking and fermentation for 20 days, the material temperature up to 60-65 ℃, the water content of about 60%. Then bagging, specification 17 * 33cm plastic bag, each bag of material 0.5-0.6kg. 100 ℃ temperature, atmospheric pressure sterilization for more than 10h, after cooling, the ends of the bag access to the strain.

Fungus bag culture: in 20-22 ℃ temperature culture 30-35 days, mycelium can grow full bag, can be cultivated.

3. Requirements of cultivation methods

(1) Indoor off-bag cultivation. Mushroom room can be cultivated after disinfecting with Bijie Shi brand chlorine dioxide disinfectant. First in each layer of the bed on the plastic sheet, put 3-4cm thick humus on top, pat flat, take off the plastic bags, the sticks are arranged one by one on the bed frame, each square meter of the bed can be arranged in 17cm × 33cm plastic mushroom bags about 40. After rows of sticks light water spray 1 time, timely mulch 3 ~ 5cm, surface cover 2 cm thick bamboo leaves or broad-leaved tree leaves, keep the soil moist, 1 month after the growth of entities. The southern region in mid-late March to April the best mushroom.

(2) Outdoor off-bag cultivation. Choose the forest land where the light is three parts sun and seven parts shade for the bed. The method of bag removal and mushroom production is the same as that of indoor cultivation, with the bag directly touching the soil. Pay attention to the temperature change in the bed, the temperature needs to be kept between 12-22℃, keep the condition of diffused light, prevent direct sunlight.

4, the requirements of management measures

Morel mushrooms like moisture, the growth environment must maintain the relative humidity of the air 80% -95%. In outdoor cultivation, winter and especially early spring, if more rain, the temperature is appropriate, the mycelium, the substrate growth is good. If there is drought in early spring, watering must be done at the right time. Early spring within a few weeks of 4 to 16 ℃ low temperature conditions, can stimulate the formation of morel mushroom fruiting entities; if this time the temperature changes drastically (below 4 ℃ or higher than 16 ℃), will affect the development of fruiting entities. In short, in the early spring of morel mushrooms to maintain appropriate temperature and humidity conditions is the key to the success of cultivation.
