Cause 1: Network line failure.
Home network environment wiring:
1, modem: modem)---- router wan port; Router lan port-computer.
2. No modem: network cable-router wan port; Router lan port-computer.
Reason 2: The router is wrongly connected to the Internet and needs to be reconfigured.
Solution: Reset the router and reset the dialing.
Reset the router method:
Method 1, there is a reset button at the back of the router. If you press it for 5 seconds, the indicator light on the router panel will go out and then come on again, which means it has been reset.
Set up router dialing:
Computer ip and dns settings are automatically obtained.
1, open the browser-enter192.168.1.1(this is the general router address or check the login information on the back of the router) and enter the route-enter the user name and password, (the default is usually admin).
2. In the setup wizard, select PPPoE dial-up (some are ADSL dial-up), enter your online user name and password according to the prompt steps, and save.
3. In the network parameters --WAN settings, select normal mode, and in the three options of connection, select PPPoE dialing. The following is the choice of automatic connection, save and exit.
Cause 3: The router hardware is damaged.
Solution: Replace with a new router.
