Plant morphology of Elaeagnus japonicus
Annual herb, height15 ~ 90 cm. The fibrous roots are thin and dense. Culms tufted, erect or knee-bent at base. Leaf blade flat or rolled, up to15cm, 3 ~ 5mm wide, glabrous or verrucous on the surface; Leaf sheaths are compressed, ridged, hairless or sparsely verrucous, and the mouth is sometimes pilose; Ligule length is about 1 mm.
