Cold rain at night, Wu,

Last night, autumn rain began to fall in Wudi Jiangtian.

This morning, I saw my guests off at Furong Building to face the lonely Chu Mountain.

If my relatives and friends in Luoyang ask about my recent situation,

Please tell them that I am still frozen in the white jade pot.

This is a farewell poem. The first sentence was written in the autumn rain last night, which set a sad atmosphere for farewell. The word "Pingming" in the second sentence indicates the time of seeing the guests off. "Chugu Mountain" not only tells the whereabouts of his friend, but also hints at his feelings of seeing his friend off. "A piece of ice heart in a jade pot" is a poetic vision, but people always think that "jade pot" and "ice heart" refer to people's good moral character, which is not realistic. "Jade pot" is ambiguous, which can refer to sprinkling pot, moon, lamp, dripping water, etc. It is both ridiculous and extremely ridiculous to interpret "jade pot" as a hip flask when pushing a cup for a change.
