Observation Diary for Green Beans:

November 17

This afternoon, I was going to soak some small green beans for observation. I first poured the drying warm water into the tupperware, and put a handful of green beans inside the warm water, and covered it with a lid, leaving only a small hole. Finally, I put it on a sunny windowsill and went out to play with my sister.

After an hour or so, I rushed to the window sill to see how my little beans were doing, only to see, one by one, the beans were lying under the water, as if they were sleeping little babies, so cute. There are a few beans have become larger, from small round grains into square, other beans also have a slight change, the center of the small white spots protruding. I didn't realize that the beans had changed so much in just an hour, it was incredible.

This morning, I just woke up, ran to the windowsill, to see what changes in my "baby green beans", heh, not seen overnight, my "baby" have grown, some beans are beginning to peel. The first thing I did was to change the water, and then I realized that I had to change the water. When I changed the water, found that the water became less, and also became green, then I understand, so these small beans will also "drink water", the reason why the green beans will "grow", is also the reason.

In the afternoon, when I observed the green beans again, I found that more green beans began to peel off, I picked up a grain of beans to look at, and found that the beans have grown a "small tail". I couldn't have been happier to discover this change. I shook the beans a few times, and they all

turned over, and wow! Almost all of the green beans have grown "tails", their tails are thin and small, smooth to the touch, and I was in a state of excitement from the afternoon until the night.

I hadn't observed my green beans for a day, and I wondered how they were doing. I thought as I walked towards the window. When I opened the lid, I saw that most of the beans had shed their green garments, and that the baby beans' little tails had grown into pigtails.

Time passed by the minute, to the afternoon, the baby beans braid grew again, and, the baby green beans braid is particularly interesting, first straight, long long, the braid slightly curved, and then longer, the braid all up. It is really interesting.

After a few days, my mom took a look at my soaked 'beans and told me, "The beans you soaked are ready to eat!" I listened and laughed. I felt incredibly happy eating my own soaked bean sprouts that night.
