Lantern Festival, one of the traditional festivals in China, is also called Shangyuan Festival, Xiaoyuanyian Festival, Yuanxi Festival or Lantern Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month every year.

The first month is the first month of the lunar calendar, and the ancients called "night" "night". The fifteenth day of the first month is the first full moon night in a year, so it is called "Lantern Festival".

Lantern Festival is not a national legal holiday, it is a traditional festival with a long history in China. Lantern Festival viewing began in the period of Emperor Hanming in the East. Emperor Hanming advocated Buddhism. I heard that on the 15th day of the first month of the first month, monks observed Buddhist relics and lit lamps to worship Buddha, so they ordered to light lamps in palaces and temples on this night to make the gentry and ordinary people hang lamps. Later, this Buddhist ceremonial festival gradually formed a grand folk festival.
