3. Spring cakes
Spring pancake is a pancake baked with flour, which is usually eaten with rolled vegetables. Song Shi Guang Ji quoted Tang Shi Bao Jing as saying: beginning of spring eclipsed radish, spring cakes, lettuce, and spring plates.
4. Spring rolls
"Guang Ji at the Age of Years": A wealthy family in the capital made a flour silkworm, which was called the official silkworm. It is also called exploring spring silkworms because it is done in beginning of spring.
5. Bite spring
The older generation pays special attention to eating in season, and radish is essential for biting spring. There is a saying in the Ming Dynasty's "Deliberate Records": In beginning of spring's time, no one chewed radish, saying "biting spring". That is to say, on this day in beginning of spring, no matter how poor people are, they will buy a radish to give their children a bite.
