There are two police schools in Zhejiang. They are Zhejiang Police College and Zhejiang Police Vocational College.

1. Zhejiang Police College

Zhejiang Police College, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is one of the four police schools in China that have carried out pilot system reform. It is the only full-time undergraduate college in Zhejiang Province that trains higher applied talents of public security and implements policing management.

The school was founded in May 1949 as a training course for public security personnel in Hangzhou; At the end of 1949, it was renamed Hangzhou People's Police School; In 1951, it was renamed Zhejiang Public Security Cadre School; In 1955, it was renamed Zhejiang Public Security School.

2. Zhejiang Police Vocational College

Zhejiang Police Vocational College was formerly known as Zhejiang Reform-through-Labor School, which was established in 1984, and was later renamed Zhejiang Judicial Police School and Zhejiang Third People's Police School.

after more than 31 years of hard construction, especially since the new century, the overall school-running level and strength of the college rank among the top vocational colleges for judicial police officers in China.

is the only national demonstrative higher vocational college, the only one established by the provincial department, and the only one that carries out the pilot reform of the recruitment and training system for police majors in the province. It is also the first batch of national pilot colleges for the reform of the recruitment and training system for political and legal police officers.

School construction and teaching staff

1. Zhejiang Police College

The school has two campuses, Binjiang and Lin 'an, with a total area of 861 mu, of which Binjiang Campus covers an area of 245 mu with a construction area of 1 million square meters;

2. Zhejiang Police Vocational College

Zhejiang Police Vocational College has 5 teaching departments (departments) and 14 majors. There are 171 full-time teachers, including 111 teachers with middle and senior titles.

There are 474 teaching and administrative staff, including 223 full-time teachers, 84 with sub-high titles or above, accounting for 37.67% of the total number of full-time teachers (including 17 full professors), and 115 with master's degree or above, accounting for 51.57% of the total number of teachers;
