I. Overview of the College

Liaoning Financial Vocational College is the only public full-time financial higher vocational college in Liaoning Province approved by the provincial government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is also the construction unit of provincial demonstration vocational colleges. WITh a history of more than 51 years, it has become a base for training advanced applied talents in banking, insurance, securities, accounting, IT industry and management, and has a wide social influence and a good social reputation in the financial field.

the college is located in Shenyang, the capital city, and in the vibrant Shenbei New District, with convenient transportation and elegant environment. The teaching facilities are advanced and complete, and there are teaching office buildings, libraries, cultural and sports halls, standardized student apartments, dining centers and high-standard training buildings with reasonable structure and complete functions.

the college has a "double-qualified" teaching team with reasonable professional structure and rich teaching experience, including finance department, accounting department, information technology department and business administration department, offering 28 majors. There are 8 provincial-level excellent courses, 3 provincial-level brand majors and 4 provincial-level excellent teaching teams, which recruit students for the whole country.

the college attaches great importance to students' comprehensive quality education and the cultivation of vocational skills, adopts a new teaching mode of "work-study alternation" while teaching and practicing, and at the same time signs contracts with banks, securities companies, insurance companies, accounting firms and other units to establish a training base, which is designated by Liaoning insurance practitioners and Liaoning rural credit cooperatives. Graduates of related majors can be directly employed to work in rural credit cooperatives at all levels in the province.

The college implements the "multi-certificate" system, and regularly organizes students to take various vocational qualification examinations. When you graduate, you will get a college diploma, and at the same time, you will also get a vocational qualification certificate in related industries.

The College has continuously expanded the channels of cooperation in running schools, innovated the mode of running schools, and created conditions for students to further their studies. Jointly run with bohai university, Liaodong University and Northeastern University, students can take the self-taught examination for applied undergraduate courses of related majors at the same time during their study in school, and finally they can get the undergraduate diploma and degree certificate at the same time.

the college also runs a joint school with Xi' an jiaotong university. after graduation, students can take the "undergraduate correspondence examination" for adults to continue their studies, or they can take the "undergraduate correspondence examination" organized by Liaoning province to further their studies in other undergraduate colleges in the province (such as Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Liaoning University of Engineering Technology).

The College has also cooperated with Canberra Government Institute of Technology in Australia to run schools in four majors, namely, financial management and practice, accounting, financial management and industrial and commercial enterprise management. The 2+1 mode is adopted, that is, two years at home and one year abroad. After graduation, the two colleges respectively awarded internationally certified college diplomas. Students can apply to stay in Australia after graduation. The college attaches great importance to the employment of graduates, and has a special employment guidance institution and professional teachers to guide the employment work. Among them, animation design and production is a characteristic specialty of our college, which implements the "2+1" training mode. In the fifth semester, an employment guarantee agreement is signed, and the enterprise is responsible for the internship and employment of students, ensuring that all qualified students can work in the animation company in Shenyang. Over the years, the college has trained and delivered a large number of applied talents for financial institutions and other enterprises and institutions inside and outside the province, and the employment rate of graduates has increased year by year. In 2119, the employment rate of graduates reached 98.22%, ranking in the forefront of similar colleges in the province.

Graduates can engage in specific work such as credit, marketing and teller service in commercial banks and rural credit cooperatives.

2. Insurance Practice Major: (code 621117)

This major cultivates advanced applied talents with good professional ethics and psychological quality and the ability to expand insurance business to meet the needs of the development of insurance industry after China's entry into WTO. Graduates can engage in underwriting, survey, claim settlement, investment accounting, risk management, customer service and other specific work of insurance companies and insurance intermediaries.

3. Securities investment and management major: (code 621111)

This major cultivates advanced applied talents who meet the needs of the securities industry, have good professional ethics and psychological quality, and have strong securities investment management and operation capabilities. Graduates can engage in marketing, trading, subscription, accounting, system operation, brokerage, investment business management and other specific work of securities companies.

This major has the direction of bank account manager, and cultivates advanced applied talents with good professional ethics and psychological quality, solid professional theoretical knowledge and skilled business operation skills to meet the needs of the development of China's financial industry. Graduates can engage in financial planning and customer service of commercial banks, insurance companies and securities companies.

5. International Finance Major: (code 621114)

This major has a major in foreign-related finance and trade, which aims to cultivate a good professional ethics and psychological quality, a solid professional foundation, skilled operational skills and strong practical ability to meet the needs of foreign-funded banks, insurance, securities, trusts and foreign-funded enterprises in China, and can apply marketing theory to the practical work of foreign-related finance and trade.
