In order to ensure food safety during Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day (hereinafter referred to as "the two festivals") and ensure people to live a peaceful, harmonious, happy and peaceful holiday, Jinan Food and Drug Administration issued the Notice on Strengthening Food Safety Supervision of Catering Services during Mid-Autumn National Day, and comprehensively arranged and deployed food safety supervision of catering services during the two festivals.
The notice pointed out that during the "Two Festivals" period, there was a large flow of people and strong consumption of food and beverage, which was a period of frequent occurrence of food safety accidents. Counties (cities) district bureaus (sub-bureaus) and municipal food and drug inspection detachments should earnestly follow the arrangements and requirements of the central, provincial and municipal governments on in-depth education and practice activities of the Party's mass line, further raise awareness, implement regulatory responsibilities, and pay close attention to food safety supervision of catering services during the "two festivals" as an important task. It is necessary to combine the food safety guarantee of the "Ten Arts Festival" and the standardized management of small catering, and adopt a combination of daily supervision and surprise inspection, focusing on catering concentrated areas, tourist attractions, venues of the "Ten Arts Festival" and expressway. Focus on tourist attractions, "Ten Arts Festival" venues and surrounding catering service units, catering service units that undertake group dinners, catering chain enterprises, and collective dining distribution units, especially those that cater to the "Ten Arts Festival", and focus on food procurement, ticket collection, storage, operation and processing, cleaning and disinfection of tableware, health examination of employees, use and management of food additives, and food sample retention. To give full play to the role of radio, television, newspapers, Internet and other news media, actively encourage and guide social supervision, and create a good atmosphere for food safety society. It is necessary to strengthen emergency duty, actively prevent and properly handle emergencies, and earnestly do a good job in the prevention and emergency response of food safety accidents in catering services.
