All kinds of prey mentioned in the catch must be treated before they can become delicious in the picnic. If not handled properly, it will not only affect appetite and diet, but also lead to physical discomfort or other adverse reactions.
1. Treatment of wild animals
First, the beast's throat should be punctured for bloodletting. After bleeding, skin the animals. When peeling, you should start with the legs and then peel the body. When peeling, while cutting with a knife, stretch your fingers between the muscles and the skin to spread the skin. After peeling, the animal is laid on its side or supine, cut from head to abdomen, cut from the radial joint of the leg, and then the internal organs of the animal are taken out. Next, clean the animals and cut them into small pieces with a knife, and you can start cooking. Be careful when handling some animals, such as wild boar, because there will be many parasites or liver flukes in these animals, so be sure to clean them carefully.
2. Treatment of poultry
For the hunted birds, the big feathers should be pulled out first, and then the remaining fluff should be roasted with fire. If you can't pluck your hair by hand, you can scald it with boiling water first, which makes it easier to pluck your hair. For larger birds, it is necessary to bleed first, then pluck feathers, and pull out all the internal organs (the heart and liver can be left); For smaller birds, you can directly peel off their skin and hair and throw away all their internal organs. It can be processed after washing.
Treat fish
If the fish caught is relatively small (generally less than 5cm), it can be processed by squeezing out its internal organs and gills by hand. If the fish caught is large, cut the belly of the fish along the line from the abdomen and anus to the incision of the fish head and throat, and take out all the internal organs (be careful not to break the gallbladder when opening the belly of the fish, and the fish eggs can be kept for eating). Some horns need to be peeled, so you can put them on with branches and frame them, and cut the skin hard from the back end of their heads. Just tear it to the fish.
Deal with snakes
When dealing with snakes, first hold the snake head tightly with one hand, then step on the snake tail with your foot, and take a knife with the other hand to cut the skin from the beginning. When it reaches the middle (protruding part) of the snake belly, pick out the snake gall with the tip of the knife. After opening everything in the belly of the snake, take out all the internal organs, chop off the head of the snake, cut a circle on the tail of the snake, lift the snake skin at the cut part, tear off all the snake skin, and then wash the snake meat with water.
5. Treatment of shellfish
Shellfish had better be boiled before eating to remove all kinds of harmful substances. If you are not in a hurry to eat, you can raise it with clear water, and I will let it "spit out" the impurities in the body. If it is found that the shell has been opened before processing, it means it is dead. You should throw it away at once and don't eat it.
