Is the "Three Tianzhu Temples" in Hangzhou one or three? Is there anything interesting?
The three Tianzhu temples in Hangzhou are three temples located between Tianzhu Mountain in Meiling North Road, Hangzhou. From south to north, there are Shangtianzhu Faxi Temple, Zhongtian Zhufajing Temple and Xiatianzhu Fajing Temple in turn. Among them, Xiatianzhu Fajing Temple is the closest to Lingyin Temple. These three temples have a history of at least 1,000 years, and they are truly ancient temples of 1,000 years. Their current names are also plaques inscribed by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.

1? Faxi Temple (Shangtianzhu Temple) This is the largest of the three ancient temples. It was founded during the reign of King Wu Yue in the Five Dynasties, that is to say, it has a history of 1000 years. But it is the latest of the three Tianzhu temples, more than 600 years later than the earliest Xiatianzhu.

In ancient times, Hangzhou people went to Maojiabu by boat via the West Lake. After landing, they took Guxiang Road, burned incense at Lingyin Temple first, and then walked along this incense road, from Santianzhu to Zhongtianzhu, and finally arrived at Shangtianzhu. I feel that Tianzhu is farthest from the sky and closest to it, so it was called Tianzhu in ancient times. The word "Tianzhu" originated from three ancient temples.

The three temples in Tianzhu have their own characteristics. Shangtianzhu is the temple with the highest elevation difference, and there is a scenic spot in online celebrities. Besides the temple itself, the surrounding scenery is also very good. There are Bai Yunfeng, Rudou Peak, Rudou Spring and Baiyun Spring around the temple.

2? Fajing Temple (Zhongtianzhu Temple) Zhongtianzhu Temple was founded in the Sui Dynasty and belongs to the most beautiful of the three Tianzhu temples. In the Southern Song Dynasty, Fajing Temple was once rated as "the first of ten Buddhist temples", which shows the status of Zhongtianzhu.

From the two Tianzhu temples of Shangtianzhu and Santianzhu to Zhongtianzhu, besides the mountains of Tianzhu Mountain, there are tea gardens full of mountains and slopes on both sides of the trail, which is the core producing area of Longjing tea in Hangzhou. Between the tea garden and the trail, there is a swift stream that runs through three Tianzhu temples. It can be said that Fajing Temple, namely Gaotai rammed earth Yuantong Temple, occupies the most natural beauty of the three Tianzhu temples and is also a special temple layout.

In the history of "Mid-Tianzhu", there used to be "Missing the Rising Sun", "Shenzhong River", "Seven Stars Pond Moon" and "Yongqing Bamboo Waves", which were called "Twelve Scenes of Mid-Tianzhu". Now, there are also surrounding landscapes such as Chitose Rock and Maple Dock in Zhongtianzhu.

3? Fajing Temple (Xiatianzhu) Fajing Temple is built next to Lingyin Temple with a Feilai Peak in the middle. It is the oldest of the three temples in Tianzhu, with a history of 1660 years. As a famous historical temple, Fajing Temple is manifested in many important works of art, the most famous of which is the Map of Xiatianzhu Temple handed down by Shen Zhou, a famous painter in Ming Dynasty, which depicts the grand occasion at that time. In the picture, the temple is shrouded in the mist among thousands of trees, flowing water and dancing pearls, which is an elegant and quiet atmosphere of the Vatican Palace Resort.

Fajing Temple is also the only Zhong Ni temple in West Lake. Now there are more than 20 monks practicing in an orderly way. Therefore, the white Guanyin in Fajing Temple is a very important point of view.

The biggest attraction of Fajing Temple is Sansheng Stone in the ruins of Houshan Mountain. This sansheng stone is located at the east foot of Lotus Peak behind the temple. It is one of the "Sixteen Relics of the West Lake" in the story of the West Lake in the early Qing Dynasty. This stone is three meters high and consists of three natural limestone. The stone tablet is engraved with three seal characters of Sansheng Stone and the inscription "Sansheng Stone Trace of Tang Yuanze Monk".

From the perspective of travelers, Tianzhu Three Temple is a complete concept of tourist routes. You can take a bus to Lingyin Temple, take Lingyin Temple and Feilaifeng as the starting point, hike, visit Tianzhu Temple for one day, and feel the beautiful scenery of Tianzhu Mountain along the way. There are tea gardens, streams, ancient temples and historical sites in the forest. It can be said that it is one of the few trails in Hangzhou that preserves the historical pattern.

The landscape of tea gardens and streams running through the Three Temple of Tianzhu will certainly bring people a quaint natural atmosphere, and it is also a kind of spiritual washing, which is a trip that Hangzhou can consider.
