The word 1. has different meanings.

5. The applicable objects are different.
Such as: love-love, the former is used for superiors to subordinates, elders to juniors or peers, and the latter is used for subordinates to superiors and juniors to elders;
Support-support, the former is used for elders to younger generations, and the latter is used for younger generations to elders.
