1. Open WPS software and create a new document. In the WPS toolbar, locate and click the Insert option.

2. Select the scanning function of WPS in the insert option, and there will be different scanning options, such as photo scanning or picture scanning.

3. After clicking the scan option, use the scanner connected to the computer to scan the paper file, put the paper file into the scanner, and scan according to the instructions of the software.

4. After scanning is completed, WPS will convert the paper file into an electronic version, insert it into the document, and edit, save or share the electronic document.
