Method for making glutinous rice roll with bean paste
Mix glutinous rice flour, corn starch, sugar, salad oil and water, and put in a container. I used an 8-inch pizza tray. Steam for 20 minutes.
Spread a layer of plastic wrap on the chopping board, divide the slightly cool glutinous rice dough into two parts, (the smaller dough is better shaped) pick up a dough and put it on the plastic wrap, then spread a layer of plastic wrap on the dough, and roll it into a rectangle with a rolling pin.
Take out the rolled dough, sprinkle a layer of coconut on the chopping board, tear off the plastic wrap on the dough and put the dough on the coconut.
Spread the bean paste on the long side, not all over it.
Then wrap it tightly with your hands. It's not sticky at all
Then cut into small pieces, so that the method of wrapping coconut first is not sticky when rolled up and will not stick when placed on a plate. Do the same for the other dough.
Once done, every glutinous rice ball is wrapped in plastic wrap, just like candy, which can last a little longer, but it will still completely harden overnight. Just heat it in the microwave oven for ten seconds to make it soft.
