The newly hatched ducklings can eat cooked rice and wheat, and the feeding frequency should be kept at four to five times a day. Ducks hatched for a week can provide them with high-protein foods such as fish, shrimp skin, earthworms and fly maggots, or feed them chopped cabbage leaves and melon skin.
When raising ducklings, the ambient temperature should be kept at about 30 degrees, and they should be provided with 20 hours of light every day. Ventilate the environment regularly to avoid the phenomenon of excessive carbon dioxide in the environment and poisoning of ducklings. Moreover, ventilation can reduce the environmental temperature and prevent the food residues in the duck house from fermenting to produce harmful gases, which will affect the growth of ducklings.
