1. Open the WPS demo software on the computer and create a new blank document.

2. Click the Insert menu in the menu bar above to see the background option in the following options.

3. Click the background option to pop up the background interface. Click the small arrow on the right side of the input box to pop up a drop-down menu, where you can see the options of filling effect.

4. Click the Fill Effect option in the drop-down menu to open the Fill Effect interface, where you can see the gradient background settings. There are three modes under the gradient background setting: monochrome, bicolor and preset.

5. Select the monochrome mode, you can set the color and color depth, and you can select the shading mode of gradient color through the shading style below.

6. After the setting is completed, click OK to return to the background interface, click Apply to complete the setting, and click Apply All to apply the background to the whole PPT document.

7. You can set two colors as gradient colors by selecting the two-color option in the gradient interface of filling effect.

8. Select the preset option in the gradient interface, and click the small arrow on the right side of the preset color to pop up the drop-down menu. The options in the drop-down menu are setting gradient background, which can be directly selected.
