3-4 potatoes
Approximately 1/4 cups of oil.
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped.
1/2 pounds of fresh mushrooms, not sliced (sliced canned mushrooms can be used instead if necessary)
1/4 cups of sunflower seeds.
Salt and pepper
Hot oil, add washed and sliced potatoes. Boil 10- 15 minutes, then add mushrooms, onions, garlic and sunflower seeds. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook until cooked, uncover and turn brown.
* This is the first time I tried vegetarian food in a residential cafe in Bloomington. Michael's French fries are great. This is the closest I can do to them. It has been a family favorite for more than 20 years.
