Method 1: Boil water.
Steps:
1. Put 2/3 high water in the pot, and then boil the water. While waiting for the water to boil, we can first treat the tomatoes, first clean them with running water, then remove the pedicles of the tomatoes, and then draw a fork at the bottom of each tomato with the tip of a knife.
2. After the water is boiled, put the tomatoes in and cook them. In order to avoid burns, it is not recommended to throw tomatoes directly into the pot by hand. Instead, it is suggested to put tomatoes on a spoon or other similar tools first, and then put the spoon and tomatoes into boiling water several times.
3. After scalding the tomato for 10 second, observe the cross-shaped part at the bottom of the tomato to see if the tomato skin there has fallen off. If so, you can get ready to take out the tomatoes. Don't scald tomatoes in boiling water for too long, or they will go bad.
4. Take all the tomatoes out of the hot water with a spoon or other similar tools, and immediately put them into a big bowl filled with ice water to prevent the tomatoes from becoming more mature due to the residual heat.
After the tomatoes are cooled, you can start peeling them. Just pick a small piece of skin with the tip of a knife, then tear it along the whole piece and repeat the steps until the tomato skin is clean.
6. In case the tomato skin still can't be torn off, put the tomato back in boiling water, cook for a few seconds, and then start from step 4.
Method 2: Bake in the oven.
Steps:
1. Adjust the oven temperature to 220℃ and preheat it first.
2. Put the tomatoes under running water, rinse them, remove the pedicels, and then cut the tomatoes in half from top to bottom.
3. Put a little cooking oil on the baking tray, and then put the cut surface of the tomato face down on the baking tray, which means that the cut surface of the tomato should be stuck on the baking tray.
4. Put the baking tray together with the tomatoes in the oven and bake until the edge of the tomato skin turns golden brown, which takes about 30 ~ 35 minutes.
5. When the baking tray and tomatoes are a little cold, peel off the tomatoes by hand, which is easy to peel off!
Method 3: Refrigeration.
Steps:
1. After washing the tomatoes, gently absorb the water on the tomatoes with clean kitchen paper towels, and then remove the pedicels of the tomatoes.
2. Put the whole tomato on the baking tray so that the tomatoes don't touch each other. Then put the baking tray in the freezer. When all the tomatoes are frozen, take out the baking tray together with the tomatoes, put all the tomatoes into a large fresh-keeping chain bag, and then put the fresh-keeping chain bag together with the tomatoes back into the freezer. Take out the tomatoes when you want to use them. If there is no baking tray at home, you can also put tomatoes into several fresh-keeping chain bags and then put them all in the refrigerator for freezing. Next, just take the frozen tomatoes out of the fresh-keeping chain-clamping bags, put them all into large-scale fresh-keeping chain-clamping bags, and then put them in the refrigerator for freezing. Frozen tomatoes can be kept for about 8 months.
When you want to take the frozen tomatoes out of the refrigerator and peel them, if you are in a hurry to use them immediately, you should rinse them with warm water first and then peel them. However, if you are not in a hurry to use them, you can keep them at room temperature until the ice naturally subsides, which takes about a few hours, and then peel them off.
Method 4: Use fire.
Steps:
1. Put a chopstick in a tomato and bake it on the fire (for example, on a gas stove). You can peel the skin if it is a little burnt.
2. If it is not easy to peel, you can put it on the fire and bake it again, which will definitely peel off the skin perfectly.
Method 5: scrape with a spoon
Steps:
1. Scrape along the tomato surface with a stainless steel spoon, and peel the large pieces after scraping once.
2. Pick a hole with the tip of the knife, gently tear the skin off, and the skin will come off. (depending on the ripeness of tomatoes, scraping may not be able to peel them, which is laborious. )
