Eggs and millet, as the name implies, are made of eggs and millet. Eggs (raw yolk) and yellow rice (shelled Freddie Wong) are made in different ways and in different proportions. There is no fixed proportion. Generally, a kilo of yellow rice is mixed with 2-3 egg yolks, which will be increased to 4-5 egg yolks before the breeding period, and some mother-fed or yeast tablets will be added to promote the digestion and absorption of vitamins and trace elements (less is better than more). Egg yolk is rich in neutral fat, lecithin, cholesterol, calcium, phosphorus, iron and other minerals. At the same time, it is rich in protein, and it is a high-priced protein, with the most vitamins A, D and B, which is why we often give our children eggs. Eggs are small, nutritious and rich in trace elements, which some sick parrots especially like to eat.
Preparation method of egg and millet
1. Steamed egg rice: yellow rice 1 kg, mixed with 2-3 raw egg yolks (added according to the needs of parrots) and then mixed with yellow rice. Steam on the pot for about 5 minutes, be sure to steam it, take it out and rub it in a warm place and dry it in the shade. Steamed egg millet is very suitable for beginners. Steamed eggs and millet are for sterilization and disinfection. Ultraviolet rays will destroy most vitamins in bad millet, so avoid sun exposure.
Second, scrambled eggs and rice: the dosage is the same as above.
1. Stir-fry the yellow rice with low heat until it is slightly yellow, and turn off the heat. When the pot is slightly warm (30-40 degrees), add the stirred raw egg yolk, mix well while it is hot, rub it evenly, pour it into a plate, and dry it in the shade. Don't give eggs and millet to parrots when they are not dry, which will lead to indigestion and illness of parrots!
3. Mix egg yolk and yellow millet evenly, pour into the pot and stir fry for about 15 minutes. Turn off the fire until the eggs and millet are warm, rub them into plates and dry them in the shade. Eggs and millet must not be fried in oil! This will reduce the taste and quality.
Third, microwave oven eggs and millet: the dosage is the same as above.
Mix egg yolk and millet evenly, pour into a microwave bowl and heat in the microwave for about 4 minutes. If it is too much, turn it for a few minutes in batches, rub it into a plate and dry it in the shade.
