Frogs are omnivores. They can eat both animals and plants. Frogs mainly feed on animals, and often eat corn borer, scarab, ladybug, fruit fly, armyworm, cotton bollworm and other insects, many of which are pests.

Frogs sometimes eat plants, but only a small part. In the tadpole stage of larvae, the food is mainly algae and plankton in the water. In the case of serious food shortage, big tadpoles will eat small tadpoles.
