(1) cash crops include cotton, sisal, peanuts, oil palm, cashew nuts, coffee, cocoa, tea, sugar cane, etc. Tobacco, rubber, pyrethrum, clove, coconut, banana and frankincense, myrrh, Calit fruit, kola fruit, alpha grass and so on are all unique to Africa. Some cash crops account for a large proportion of the world's total output and trade. Although the export of cash crops in most African countries has declined relatively or absolutely in recent years, it still occupies an important position in the African economy and even the world market. For example, in 1985, African sisal, palm kernel, cocoa bean, Huanila, coffee and cotton accounted for 43.4%, 52. 1%, 6 1.2%, 73.6%, 22.3% and/kloc-respectively. At present, nearly half of the export trade of African countries is still based on cash crops.

(2) The main crops in Africa are wheat, rice, corn, millet, sorghum, potato dates, potato taro and so on.
