1. Create a new canvas: in Procreate, open a new canvas. You can choose canvas settings that suit your animation size and resolution.
2. Divide animation frames: divide the canvas into multiple layers, each layer represents an animation frame. You can use the Layers function to create and manage different layers on the canvas.
3. Draw the first frame: Draw the first frame of the animation on the first layer. You can use painting tools, brushes and colors to draw the image you want.
4. Copy the previous frame: copy the layer of the current frame and make minor modifications to the copied layer. This can change in the next frame.
5. Draw step by step: Repeat step 4 to create each animation frame step by step. Copy the layer of the previous frame at a time and modify it to produce a continuous animation effect between each frame.
6. Play the animation: In Procreate, you can use the action panel to play and preview the animation you created. The Actions panel allows you to set the frame rate and cycle mode of the animation.
7. Export animation: After animation, you can export animation files. Procreate supports multiple file formats, such as GIF, MP4 and sequence images. Select the export option that suits your needs and save the animation.
Please note that the animation function of Procreate is relatively simple and suitable for making basic frame animation. If you need more complex animation functions and controls, you may need to use professional animation software.
