Plot summary
In the depth of winter one year, Luo Yicheng got a daughter, Luo Xiaobei. Because Luo Yicheng's wife Zhang Yin had no breast milk and the child cried all day long, He Ping found out a folk remedy from his wife Tang Lihua, so he asked Luo Yicheng to go digging ice in the river to fish for fish on weekends to feed Zhang Yin. Luo Yicheng accidentally fell into the water. He Ping jumped into the ice cave and pushed Luo Yicheng up. Unexpectedly, He Ping drowned.
On that day, Tang Lihua, who was suddenly struck by the loss of her husband, gave birth to her son He Chunsheng prematurely. This tough woman was very righteous. When she heard the cry of her neighbor's daughter, she came over to take the child and nursed her with her own milk. He Pingfei died in the line of duty, and his superiors did not agree to report him as a martyr. Luo Yicheng went up and down to no avail, blamed himself, and made up his mind.
No matter what, we must take good care of the lives of Lao He's widow, mother and son, and stick to the half-joking promise made when chatting with Lao He on the ice, so that the newly born boy and girl could get married. He asked two mothers to hold their newborn children and take "engagement photos."
Evaluation of the series
"Family" explores something that is familiar to Chinese people. It is not a vulgar drama about mother-in-law and mother-in-law, but involves our understanding of the traditional "well-matched" family. Debate can allow people to find the true meaning of life, love and marriage. Therefore, it also has a broad mass base and allows audiences of different groups and ages to find resonance.
