1, eggplant
Eggplant is the most common in small farmhouses. Hot summer is the flourishing period of beans and eggplant. In summer, there are eggplant and beans on my dining table almost every day.
The most common planting method of eggplant and beans is a ridge of eggplant and a ridge of beans. Beans are climbers. When beans grow to a certain height, they will stand up. If beans are planted together, it is easy to make the bean rack poorly ventilated, so people will separate eggplant from beans, which not only enhances the ventilation of beans, but also has no effect on the growth of eggplant.
2. Cucumber
Cucumbers and beans are the same vegetables, so they can be put on the shelf. Many people plant beans and cucumbers together for the convenience of shelving. Cucumber and beans are in full bloom in summer, and there is a great demand for water and fertilizer. So planting beans and cucumbers together is not only convenient for shelving, but also convenient for watering and topdressing.
Matters needing attention in planting beans
When we choose the soil for planting beans, we must choose fertile soil instead of continuous cropping. Before planting beans, you should dig deep into the soil and then apply some base fertilizer. The application of base fertilizer should be combined with organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer, and the base fertilizer should not be too much, as long as it is adequately supplied. We can also make a long bed next to planting beans to facilitate better drainage in the later stage.
Because the roots of beans are very shallow, they are usually planted directly. Before we plant beans, we need to dig some holes in the ground. Note that the spacing between holes should be relatively large. We can put two or three seeds in each hole. Be sure to water thoroughly after sowing so that the fertilizer can be better absorbed.
