The location of Yunnan Insect Valley includes ethnic villages, Wengding primitive tribes, Longmo Wild Holy Land, Dream Wonderland, Tropical Rainforest Wangtianshu Scenic Area and Wild Elephant Valley Tropical Rainforest Scenic Area. The stockade in Yunnan Insect Valley was shot in Wengdingwa Village, Cangyuan. Thatched huts and cow's head piles are the landmark landscapes of Zhazhai, which is the last "primitive tribe" in China. Wengdingwa Village is hidden in the deep mountains of Lancang River. Because of the protection of mountains and rivers, it is like a peach blossom garden.

The folk custom of the Wa village in Wengding is the epitome of the cultural inheritance and development of the whole Wa region, the birthplace of Wa culture in the world, the last living body of Chinese tribal culture and the living museum of Wa culture. Later, it also became a cultural tourist area. What a pity! In February, 20021year, a fire swept through the whole stockade. 105 There were only four original Wa thatched cottages left.
