Maotang Township is located in the northwest of Xichuan County and adjacent to Xixia County in the north. Most of the township is in the deep mountains, and the forest coverage rate exceeds 50%.

Based on the advantages of local resources, Maotang Township is committed to developing an eco-economic belt integrating tourism, sightseeing and picking.
