Yan Fengying is an outstanding performing artist of Huangmei Opera, one of the founders of Huangmei Opera in China, and a pioneer and contributor to the inheritance and development of Huangmei Opera in China.
Yan Fengying's representative works include: The Fairy Couple, Beating Pig Grass, Couples Watching Lights, Youchun, Anger at Ma Xu, Cowherd and Weaver Girl, etc. The Huangmei Opera films she starred in include: A Fairy Match, The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, The Woman Xu and so on.
1On April 8th, 968, Yan Fengying committed suicide by taking sleeping pills at the age of 38.
2. Big sister Wang Shaomei
Wang Shaomei, the younger sister of Huangmei Opera actor Wang Shaofang, is a first-class actress in Anhui Huangmei Opera Theatre. She once played her elder sister in the movie The Fairy Couple, an old woman with two guns in Jiang Jie and the Queen Mother in The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl.
On March 27th, 2008, Wang Shaomei died of illness.
3. Second sister Pan Jingli
The famous Huangmei Opera actor has performed such plays as butterfly lovers, The Legend of the White Snake, Watching Lights by Couples, The Fairy Couple, etc.
Pan Jingli died on1October 23rd.
4. Wu Jiangjie Ming 'an
Second-class actor of Huangmei Opera Theatre in Anhui Province. He has appeared in The Fairy Couple, Ma Xu, The West Chamber and A Dream of Red Mansions.
Jiang Ming died in 2009.
