Hubei Architectural Engineering Technical School was established in 1964. It is a provincial full-time general secondary school and technical school approved by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. With a general secondary school, technical school, adult college, undergraduate education. The school vocational training center is the earliest institution in Hubei Province to carry out architectural training and education. It has the qualifications of the second-level training institution of Hubei Province and the third-level safety training institution of Hubei Provincial Administration of Work Safety. It is a professional skill appraisal institution approved by Hubei Provincial Department of Labor and Social Security, and the first batch of training points for project managers of construction enterprises of the Ministry of Construction.

At the beginning of 2009, our school invested nearly 50 million yuan to build a new campus in gedian Development Zone. The new campus covers an area of 80 mu, with a total construction area of about 23,000m2, designed according to university standards. The new campus has an elegant environment, with standard classrooms, lecture halls, multimedia classrooms, libraries, reading rooms, sports grounds, canteens, bathrooms and other facilities, as well as training rooms for architecture, metalworking, numerical control manufacturing, mold fitter, electronics and electrician, computer center and off-campus practice base.
