Xingsen (16 14 ~ 1677), a monk in the early Qing Dynasty, was born in Boluo, Huizhou, with a common surname of Li, the son of Li Shaojue, assistant minister of the Ministry of Punishment in the late Ming Dynasty. When he was a teenager, he was a Chinese and foreign ambassador, went to Beijing with his father, and entered Chinese studies with grace. Later, he became a monk with Luo, the first Zen master of Taoism, and went to yunmen temple, Zhejiang Province to study Qiaoyuanxin, and went to Hongji, Huzhou to pay homage to Master Lin Tong, becoming a descendant of the Sect (one of the five schools of Zen). In the seventeenth year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (1660), Hangsen was told to enter the palace with his teacher and become a monk for the emperor shunzhi. Shortly after Shunzhi's death, Hangsen cremated the emperor shunzhi's body. In the 16th year of Kangxi (1677), Xing Sen moved to Huayan Temple in Hangzhou at the age of 64.
As can be seen from the above, Hangsen was the son of Li Shaojue, assistant minister of punishments in the late Ming Dynasty, and the early Qing Dynasty was an active stage of anti-Qing and regaining sight, while Hangsen was after Amin's official, so he advised Shunzhi to become a monk for political purposes or Buddhist reasons, both good and bad, and could not be generalized.
In the seventeenth year of Shunzhi (1660), Dong Fei died of illness in Chenggan Palace, suffering greatly, and his political anguish also troubled him. At this time, only Buddhism gave him something to trust, so he sprouted the idea of becoming a monk again. At the turn of September and October, Fu Lin made up his mind to become a monk and changed his tonsure from Tiaoxisen to the bald son of heaven. 10 15, Tiaoxisen's teacher, Zen master Yulin Tongyu, arrived in Beijing with a letter. When he heard that his apprentice shaved the emperor's hair, he flew into a rage and immediately ordered everyone to pile up firewood and prepare to burn Tiaoxisen. Therefore, he advised Fu Lin: "If the law of the world is used, the emperor should always sit on the throne, which can stabilize the heart of the Virgin Mary and make the people live and work in peace and contentment;" According to the law of life, the emperor should also be an eternal monarch and emperor. He can protect those who practice Buddhism and live in the residences of all powerful bodhisattvas. " Fu Lin took his advice, allowed her hair to grow, and temporarily gave up the idea of becoming a monk. Yan Xisen was also saved from burning to death and left Beijing for the south that month. Although Fu Lin is no longer a monk, his heart has been completely influenced by Buddhism.
