In the early 1930s, Li Qiujun followed Zhang Daqian to Shanghai and taught at the National School of Fine Arts. Li Qiujun, as always, took care of Zhang Daqian's daily life and even sewed Zhang Daqian's clothes by hand. When Chang traveled around the world, Li Qiujun simply chose his disciples, and the disciples also addressed Li Qiujun as "Teacher Niang", and Li Qiujun did not refuse.
