Baogong Temple is the main ancient architectural complex in Bao Zheng cemetery. In the first year of Hongzhi in Ming Dynasty (1488), Song Jian, the magistrate of Luzhou, built Baogong Academy here, which was later renamed Baogong Temple. This highland has been nicknamed "Xianghuadun" again. Baogong Temple was built in memory of Zhixue, Assistant Minister of Rites and Yin Baowenzheng of Kaifeng Prefecture in the Song Dynasty.
Including cm is the main exhibition area, garden scenic area and functional service area. There are gates, two gates, zhaobi, stele pavilion, second hall, main hall and east-west attached halls in the main exhibition area. According to historical records, Baogong Temple in Kaifeng was built in Jin and Yuan Dynasties, and has been renovated in Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a history of nearly a thousand years. Due to the flood of the Yellow River, it has been destroyed and built repeatedly.
1984, Kaifeng rebuilt Baogong Temple on Baogong Lake.
In 2003, Baogong Temple was officially rated as the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions by the National Tourism Administration.
