According to the seven nutrients that children need every day, such as protein, fat, carbohydrate, water, trace elements, vitamins and dietary fiber, we should rationally allocate food structure, formulate reasonable recipes, insist on providing children with a balanced diet with sufficient nutrition, and constantly adjust the food structure to prevent children from eating more if they like, and eating less or not if they don't like it.
In catering, we must first ensure that the proportion of children's daily intake of seven nutrients is appropriate, and secondly, we must ensure that the proportion of eight categories of food, such as grain, meat, eggs, vegetables, fruits, bean products, oil and sugar, is properly distributed.
Foods with harmonious colors and fragrant smells can arouse the excitement of children's eating center, induce children's sense of pleasure, guide them to eat happily, give food a nice name, and also arouse children's interest, such as hedgehog balls, four-color hot bibimbap, carrots (red), green beans (green), old pumpkins (yellow) and taro (white). Good food names are imaginative and can stimulate children's desire to eat.
Spring: Children have more outdoor activities. Part of vitamin D comes from food, and the other part is transformed by sunlight on the skin, which is beneficial to the absorption of calcium and phosphorus and promotes the growth of children's bones. Children need more calcium, so foods rich in calcium should be added to their diet. In spring, children are prone to stomatitis, angular stomatitis and skin diseases. More fresh vegetables should be added, such as spinach, lettuce, peas, rape and so on. In spring, children can eat more jujube lotus seed porridge, or make buns and jujube cakes with candied dates and black rice. It is good for strengthening the spleen and stomach.
Summer: It is the most active time for human metabolism. Due to the hot weather, the body consumes a lot of energy and needs to replenish water in time. At this time, the child's diet should be light. Children may have the characteristics of anorexia. It is advisable to enrich the variety of food, and at the same time let children eat some foods that clear away heat, detoxify and relieve summer heat, and promote diuresis (mung bean porridge, bitter gourd scrambled eggs, bitter gourd first blanched to remove bitterness). When the weather is hot, children are prone to insufficient intake of protein due to poor appetite. They should eat more milk, eggs, lean meat, fish, soybean milk, bean products and foods containing calcium.
Autumn: The weather is refreshing, and children's appetite is good at this time, which is a critical period for children to adjust their nutritional status. But children have a good appetite, so it is easy to get gastrointestinal diseases, and children with poor constitution are also easy to get respiratory diseases. Therefore, vitamin A should be supplemented during this period, such as carrots, lean meat, pork liver, yellow fruits (sweet potatoes, pumpkins) and other fruits.
Winter: On the one hand, in order to keep the body temperature constant, children need to consume more nutrients to generate heat energy to resist the cold; On the other hand, in order to meet the growing needs, the demand for food has also increased. Therefore, the diet should have enough calories, increase the intake of protein and fat, eat more hot food, and choose cooking methods such as braise in soy sauce, braise in soy sauce and stew.
