Millet is a high-quality grain, rich in a lot of nutrients and dietary fiber. This tiny magic grain is a good source of B vitamins, and it is also good for the elderly, especially diabetics.

Every time I post a batch of new news about my five-week trip to Xiaomi on Instagram, my mobile phone will be bombarded by news of DM and WhatsApp. Although I try my best to answer every question patiently, I need to arrange a phone call to explain the whole online seminar-I have also observed some common questions, and people who are skeptical and afraid hope to join me in this wonderful journey. Today, I want to answer some common questions. I believe this column will help many people who are still hesitant to start cooking with millet.
I know millet is good, but I can never live without wheat.
No one asked you to leave wheat unless you were diagnosed with gluten intolerance. We are not the kind of automatic machine that can go from gluten-free to gluten-free overnight. Let's not impact our bodies. It takes your taste buds some time to get used to Xiaomi. But when you clearly know that gluten is bad for your health, you can control your mind and stomach and accept millet as a substitute for dietetic food. Through my studio, I tried to make the whole trip very interesting, beneficial and convenient.
Fortunately, Xiaomi makes life easier. When you learn about different millet, its texture, taste and aftertaste from the first step, you can quickly plan your menu for the week. It's more like a self-paced seminar, and you follow your own schedule and timetable. However, once you know the correct cooking technique, the correct soaking method and the millet suitable for your health, you will better master the whole science of dealing with these magical grains.
I can eat millet, but I don't think my family will go on this journey with me.
You came here for your own good. Once you start to feel better, positive emotions will overwhelm all your actions. Only this family can see your progress. Although it will take some time before they join you, they won't mind trying all the interesting and mouth-watering millet foods you are going to cook. Slowly, the whole family joined Xiaomi's journey. But change must start with you.
I want to secretly add some millet to my daily food. Your workshop menu looks very exotic and European.
In addition to recipes, you need to be familiar with cooking skills. All my students are connected by a closely connected WhatsApp group. Every day, we will see (shared by my students) Xiaomi Cha Shao Bing, khichdi, various versions of Indian pancakes, pancakes, and more pictures of soup, appetizers and even salads on the menu. This is a journey, not just a cooking class.
Because I have to tell you that you can easily make your ordinary food look interesting. Here's an attempt. You can mix ordinary millet khichdi with some delicious barbecue vegetables and cottage cheese pickled with sorghum millet. I don't know what you would call this platter, but if you ask me, it is a bridge to help me take you to our Desi food. It is more style and love. This defines my work and myself.
You can contact me through my Instagram to learn more about this meaningful adventure. But before that, be sure to read more step-by-step recipes, with Xiaomi khichdi barbecue vegetables as a side dish.
