Siri provides an interactive experience. When Siri displays a link to a website, you can tap it to see more information in your default web browser. When the on-screen response from Siri includes buttons or controls, you can tap them to take further action. You can tap Siri again to ask it to answer another question or perform another task.
Find answers to your questions: Find information from the website, get sports scores, get math calculations, and more. You can say something like "Hey Siri, what is the cause of a rainbow," "Hey Siri, how many points did the Giants score in yesterday's game," or "Hey Siri, what is the derivative of cosine."
Use apps to perform tasks on iPhone: Use Siri to control apps with your voice. For example, to create an event in Calendar, you can say, "Hey Siri, set up a meeting with Junhan at 9 a.m." or to add an item to Reminders, you can say, "Hey Siri, Adding zucchini and garlic to my shopping list”.
In response to the request "Add zucchini and garlic to my shopping list," Siri displays a list of reminders called "Shopping List" that lists zucchini and garlic. Listing appears on Creamy Zucchini Soup Recipe.
Send and reply to messages: You can say something like "Hey Siri, text Junhan and say you want to change it to tomorrow" or "Hey Siri, text me back and say that's great." You can even use Siri to send audio messages.
If you connect AirPods (AirPods Pro and 2nd generation AirPods) to iPhone, Siri can read messages to you when you receive them, even if iPhone is locked. Siri will continue listening after reading the message, so you can reply without saying "Hey Siri." See Use AirPods with Siri on iPhone.
Translate into different languages: You can say something like "Hey Siri, how do you say thank you in English?" or "Hey Siri, what languages ??can you translate?"
Siri shows Mandarin" "Thank you" corresponding English translation. Button to the right of the translation to replay the translated audio.
Play a radio station: You can say "Hey Siri, play Leslie Cheung's station."
Ask Siri to show you more examples: You can say "Hey Siri, what can you do?"
