Zhuang brocade
Magnificent Zhuang handicrafts are as famous as Xiang embroidery and Shu brocade at home and abroad. It has a long history. Produced in the Tang and Song Dynasties, it flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with a strong local ethnic style. Zhuang brocade is woven with cotton yarn as warp and five-color thread as weft. It is famous for its brilliant colors, unique patterns and durability.
Special foods include pickled cabbage, old friend noodles, eight immortals powder, dried fish powder, rolled rice, eight-treasure rice, sour wild, lemon duck and so on.
Acid product
Nanning dialect is called "acid grandfather". There is a saying in Nanning that "pedestrians are sad and sour", which is made of local seasonal fruits and vegetables such as papaya, radish, cucumber, lotus root, broccoli and pineapple, and pickled with vinegar, pepper and sugar. It tastes sour and sweet, spicy, crispy and delicious, and stimulates appetite.
Eight immortals powder
According to legend, it is one of the secret recipes of Qing Palace. With more than eight flavors of delicacies and seasonality, the tastes are different and complement each other, such as "Eight Immortals crossing the sea, each showing his magical powers", hence the name.
