Every piece of blue-and-white porcelain has gone through dozens of processes and dozens of technical key points from kneading mud to firing, all of which come from a series of skills accumulated by artists over the years, and have experienced meticulous drawing. The manufacturing process of blue-and-white porcelain:
1. Mud kneading, the purpose of which is to empty the air bubbles in the mud, so as to further compact the mud. If this process is omitted, bubbles will easily appear in the blank, and if the blank is too dry, it will easily break and deform during firing.
second, blank making. The traditional round machine blank making is to make roughly corresponding blanks according to the final machine type for later printing.
third: the printed blank, the rough blank, is naturally dried in the shade after a certain period of time (it must be naturally dried in the shade under certain humidity and temperature conditions, and cannot be exposed to the sun. The blank for blank forming must be placed obliquely on the blank board, not vertically. The purpose of printing blank is to make the hand-shaped circular device uniform after firing.
Four: blank utilization, which is to finish the printed blank to make it more smooth and round.
V: Dangli glaze, which is generally made of Shi Ying, feldspar and clay. The methods of glazing ceramics include spraying, blowing, dipping, pouring and swinging. The inner glaze (the inner glaze of the ware) and the bottom glaze (the glaze of the foot of the ware) adopt the traditional swinging glaze method, and the outer glaze adopts the dipping glaze method.
sixth, draw the blank, swing the blank with inner glaze, and enter the blank drawing process.
7: external glaze is applied, and the finished porcelain blank needs to be painted for the second time.
eight: write the bottom payment and apply the bottom glaze.
9: firing, it is necessary to arrange reasonably according to the structure size of the kiln body and the size of all the blanks to be fired, and leave a reasonable fire flue, otherwise it will lead to firing failure.
ten: open the kiln, and after 12-18 hours of natural cooling, the kiln can be opened when the temperature in the kiln body drops to normal temperature.
